I had lots of fun today creating these cool wheels.  I wanted them to be a bit different, so they are quite off centre.

As an aside, I am totally in love with my journals at the moment, they are so full of life, it's awesome.  

Am also digging Watercolour Paper Pads, love the paper forever and a day simply because it's so luscious.  It's thick and textured and just plain yummy.

This is the beginnings of an exercise.  Next I need to draw a face over the prepped paper, with black and white chalk pastel, exploring light and dark.  I'm really looking forward to it, and I'm learning to embrace that icky feeling of impending doom that seems to descend upon me when I know I'm heading in to a space that will challenge me.

Some things I tackle head on, others I am content to resign myself to sucking at forever!  Drawing is one of those things. I am starting to believe though, that imperfection is quirkiness, and quirkiness rocks.
