Korn

Blew my mind.

Vector is a stunning venue to shoot.  And Korn...  Amazing.

Single Release Shoot

Jason McIver released a gorgeous single, 'The Crystal Pool'.  We headed out to Muriwai to shoot some promotional shots.

We found some beautiful spots, and the shoot was nice and peaceful, despite the fact that my children were there, hah.

Here is a link for Jason's page, have a listen, https://scloud.com/jason-mciverso beautiful:  https://soundcloud.com/jason-mciver

Weddings...

I had a beautiful wedding to photograph.  Steve and Dee were renewing their vows after 10 years, and it was a massive day.  I took my handy dandy second shooter with me.  I don't usually hand over so many photos, but the bride had requested as many as possible, so I edited over 2000 photos of this special day.  I was stoked there were actually so many photos I was happy to hand over and proud to have my name attached to, heh.  But man, 2000 photos take a long time to edit.  I did learn a little more about streamlining my picky editing, haha, having upgraded to Lightroom 5.

Unreliable Blogger...

I confess to being a terrible blogger.  I'm awful.  In my defence, I took a year off to start a Masters in Ed Psych, and now I have taken a year off that to finish my art Diploma, haha.  In any case, I have been super busy with photography and can't wait to get heads down, tails up with painting.  :)

Here are some shots from the Pennywise gig.  I also photographed Sommerset (so got to see them back together!), PCP Eagles and Less Than Jake.

Massive challenges in this shoot at the Logan Campbell Centre, oh my.  Met the lighting guy beforehand, he told me I'd hate him, hah.  Lucky I love a challenge.  Zero front light.  None whatsoever - we had back and side LEDs, that's it.

Certainly made for a challenging shoot, and my Photo Pit Mate, Doug, also found it tricky.

Clearly, I also find it tricky to format photos on this blog also, haha.
